Jerry and I just had our first conversation of the morning.

"Hey, listen to this!"(in a perky voice)
"It's going to be 47 degrees, high of 60 in Colorado," . . .  "I'm going to be cold," (sleepily)
"80 degrees in Moab, Utah, . . . "Oh, good,"
"101 degrees in Las Vegas and 108 degrees crossing Death Valley," . . . "Fantastic,"
"35 degrees in Mammoth Valley, CA outside of Yosemite." . . . blank stare
